Progress is not Linear

Blessed love. Give thanks for life.

Let us have a bit of reasoning with one another. Let us look over the idea of Progress.

Progress simply means moving forward, stepping ahead. It does not mean to rush, run, conquer…. It just means move. Progress does not indicate better, richer or faster; it just means movement. A journey going forward. 

And yet, the fabricators of our current reality have distorted progress to mean constant improvement, endless gain and striving without rest. So, we then go out and measure our worth by constant gain: faster! higher!!

However, this way of being brings heaviness to the spirit and separates I from the natural flow. 

Progress is something that will just unfold naturally; it cannot be forced or manufactured. 

At times I am going through life and things just feel like nothing is happening.

There is a pause or a stillness, and it begins to feel like life is at a standstill and there is no movement happening at all. In these moments I have learned not to be discouraged. I overstand that this stillness is a sacred pause where roots begin to deepen and stretch. 

Power in the Pause

A seed is planted. However, before that seed can rise toward the sun, it must rest in darkness. In the same manner I-n-I must embrace the moments where nothing appears to change.

When the Path Turns Back

There have been so many moments where it seemed as if things were going backwards. As if I was forever doomed to repeat the mistakes of my past. Steps retraced. Same lessons repeated. 

If this feeling is familiar to you; do not be troubled.

The spiral path returns, never in the same place. Each experience carries deeper understanding. What felt like going backwards was just an opportunity to see from a new perspective. 

The Heart Work of Growth

Growth is not only in what I-n-I achieve it is also in what I endure, what I learn and how I remain rooted in truth. 

There is a balance always that must be maintained. Therefore, there will be days of light when everything glows like sweet music. And there will be days of heaviness, when the spirit may feel weary.  Both days are necessary. Balance must come from honoring the full journey and not just the easy, fun parts. 

Trust Jah Timing

Everything in creation moves in divine order. All things happen in their appointed time. So too with I-n-I.  Every moment is shaping the journey.

Walk gently. Trust deeply. Stay rooted.
